Zekeba Privacy Policy

Zekeba is a mobile utility app operated for personal use, and this policy describes the privacy practices that apply when you use the app or communicate with us.

1 What information may be involved

Information collected through Zekeba is limited to what is reasonably needed to operate the app, maintain purchases, respond to requests, and meet legal obligations. This can include app activity information, device and technical details, purchase-related records supplied by an app store or payment provider, and communications you send to us.

If you add content in the app, that content may be stored or processed as needed to provide the app experience and maintain the records you choose to keep. User-added content remains subject to this policy when it is handled by Zekeba or by service providers acting for us.

When an in-app purchase is made, payment processing is handled by the applicable app store or payment provider. We do not receive full payment card details. We may receive limited purchase confirmation, receipt, entitlement, transaction status, country or tax-region indicators, and related technical records needed to verify access, prevent misuse, keep records, and respond to purchase-related legal requirements.

2 How We Use Your Information

Information is used to operate, maintain, improve, and protect Zekeba; provide app functionality; preserve user-added content where applicable; confirm in-app purchases; communicate with you; troubleshoot errors; prevent fraud, abuse, or security incidents; comply with law; and enforce our legal terms.

For users in regions where a lawful basis is required, our bases may include performance of a contract when information is needed to provide the app, legitimate interests in operating and securing the app, consent where the law requires consent, legal obligation where records must be kept or disclosed, and legal claims where information is needed to establish or defend rights.

We may also use aggregated or de-identified information for analytics, reporting, business planning, or service improvement. Information in that form is not intended to identify a particular user.

3 Limited sharing connected with operation or legal duties

Zekeba relies on outside providers for limited operational support such as infrastructure, storage, analytics, security, support handling, and purchase verification. Those providers may receive information only to perform their assigned functions for business, technical, legal, or security purposes.

Purchase information may pass between Zekeba, app platforms, payment processors, tax or compliance vendors, and related platform services when needed to validate or maintain a purchase. Information may also be disclosed when law, legal process, regulatory action, enforceable government demand, rights protection, safety, property protection, or app integrity requires it.

If Zekeba or relevant assets are part of a merger, acquisition, financing, restructuring, transfer, or similar transaction, information may be reviewed or transferred with appropriate protections.

4 Opt-Out of Data Sharing

Some privacy laws use the terms “sale,” “sharing,” or “targeted advertising” for certain disclosures of personal information. If Zekeba uses advertising, analytics, or similar technologies in a way that gives you opt-out rights under applicable law, you may exercise those rights through available in-app controls, device settings, platform privacy controls, or by sending a privacy request through the contact channel listed below.

Platform settings may also let you limit certain identifiers or reset advertising-related choices. Those settings are controlled by the device or app store platform, and changing them may not remove information already processed for security, legal, or purchase verification purposes.

5 Ways to ask about or control information

Applicable privacy law can allow you to request access to, correction of, deletion of, restriction of, portability of, or objection to certain processing of your personal information. It may also allow you to withdraw consent where processing depends on consent, or to appeal a decision about a privacy request where that right is available.

Requests are handled according to the law that applies to the request and the information involved. We may need enough information to understand the request, confirm that we are responding to the correct person, and determine whether an exception applies. Legal exceptions can include security, fraud prevention, purchase records, dispute handling, compliance duties, and protection of legal rights.

You can also control some app information directly by changing device settings, using app controls, or removing locally stored content where those options are available.

6 When records are kept and when they are removed

Retention is tied to the purpose for which information was collected and to any continuing legal or operational reason for keeping it. App records may be kept while they are needed for operation, purchase verification, security, compliance, dispute handling, or protection of rights.

After the relevant need ends, information may be removed, de-identified, combined into non-identifying form, or held only where another lawful basis remains. Backup and archive copies may clear on normal system schedules.

7 Safeguards used to reduce privacy risk

Zekeba uses administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards chosen to reduce privacy and security risk. These safeguards may include access limits, provider review, encryption where suitable, monitoring, and internal procedures for handling app information.

No app environment can be made risk-free. Device security, platform credentials, and choices about what you keep on your device remain important parts of protecting your information.

8 Privacy safeguards for use by younger people

Zekeba is intended for general audiences and should be used by minors only with appropriate permission or supervision from a parent or legal guardian when required. We do not knowingly seek to collect personal information from a child in circumstances where parental consent is legally required.

If a parent or guardian believes that a child has provided personal information that should be removed, they can send a privacy request using the contact information below. We will review the request and take appropriate action under applicable law.

9 International Data Transfers

Zekeba may be operated with service providers, infrastructure, and support resources located in different countries. As a result, information may be transferred to, stored in, or accessed from jurisdictions that may not provide the same privacy protections as the country where you live.

When cross-border transfers require safeguards, we use appropriate measures such as contractual protections, platform and provider commitments, risk-based security practices, and other mechanisms recognized by applicable law. Where required, transfers from the EEA, UK, Switzerland, or similar regions are supported by lawful transfer mechanisms and supplemental protections appropriate to the information and processing involved.

10 Updates and Contact

We may update this policy from time to time to reflect legal, technical, business, or app-related changes. The updated version will be posted at the privacy location for Zekeba or otherwise made available through an appropriate channel.

Version information: Effective May 27, 2026; last updated May 27, 2026.

When a change is material, we may provide additional notice as required by law or platform rules. Continued use of Zekeba after an updated policy becomes available means the updated policy applies from its effective date, subject to any rights that cannot be waived under applicable law.

Privacy communications for Zekeba should be sent to talk@zekeba.app. Include only the details needed for us to understand and route the request under the privacy process that applies.
